Great place to stay! Nice and clean condos. Great view of the lake, nice pool and trailer parking. Highly recommend!

Cannot wait to go back. We had an amazing time. There was plenty of things to do at the resort for our 9yr old and 2 year old. Pool and rooms were clean. Very clean. You can tell the owners take pride in their property. This is definitely our new lake spot.

It was a beautiful location, though I would’ve loved a more equipped playground for my kiddos and some grass to stand in. However the docks and the water were beautiful. We saw some goose eggs and a gosling with his/her parents. It was serene and the hills are impressively steep.

We reserved a room at this location due to its proximity to the state park (stayed during a Bass fishing tournament). Pros: Very spacious rooms at reasonable rates. We reserved a 3 bed condo and it was perfect for myself, my husband and our 2 kids aged 16 and 11. TV in each room and an additional TV in the living room. Full kitchen, fully stocked utensils and appliances, and all were clean upon arrival. Great views of the lake. Ground level entry (so no stairs if you prefer). Room to walk around outside, paved walkways all around. We also reserved a boat slip, easy to get the boat docked, electric available, and not a lot of others in the way. The only con: Trailer parking. I am great at parking and backing trailers, however, if you're not great at it, this might be a difficult place to park a trailer, especially during a fishing tournament. We will 100% stay here again. Check in was easy and well communicated. As a comparison, we usually stay at Margaritaville and both the kids and adults liked this facility way more.

Brian and Jen, the managers, were wonderful. The resort was clean and the beach and pool were great for our kids. We were a group of 19 ages 4 to 69 and we all enjoyed our time there. There are plenty of things to do in the area also to keep everyone entertained. Also, we were surprised at the reasonable rates. A true family resort.

Don’t know much about staying here but Hughes Construction is currently redoing all the decks on the buildings. So the decks are solid at least. Looks like a cool place to stay though.

My family and I loved our stay at Kapilana Resort this past weekend. We rented a 3BR 2BA lakefront condo for 3 nights, and all of our accommodations were wonderful. The condo was very well-kept, clean, and was lovely. The pool area is great, & we spent a lot of time there, and our condo's walk-out balcony was a favorite spot to sit, relax, and watch the boats, ducks, fish, etc. One of the most relaxing places I have ever stayed. The owners were extremely helpful and nice, and they bent over backwards to make our stay even better. Thank you for a great stay! It was a memorable vacation, and we plan to return again & stay here in the future!

we started off at the beach house which didn't fit our needs because we had a family of 5 and we thought the full size bed and the queen size bed were in different rooms but it was an efficiency. the room was nice but not for us. we called Jen and explained our mistake in booking and she was able to switch us over to the 2 bed condo. the condo was awesome. it was spacious. had great amenities, wifi and enough towels for us to go swimming in the lake and onsite pool. they even had free paddle boats for the kids to use at the small beach on the lake. (warning: wear beach shoes while on the lake. the rocks are very uncomfortable) overall it was a great experience and we will 100% use there establishment again.
